About the Conference
Advancing Nutrition and Women’s Health Across the Life Course
Women experience unique nutritional and health needs across the life course, yet important gaps remain in research, clinical practice, and equitable access to evidence-informed care. Emerging evidence continues to demonstrate the critical role of nutrition in supporting reproductive health, menopause, cardiometabolic health, cancer survivorship, musculoskeletal health, and age-related chronic disease risk.
At the same time, growing recognition of sex- and gender-specific influences on nutrition research and clinical practice has highlighted the need for more inclusive research, improved knowledge translation and tailored approaches to nutrition care.
Exploring Current and Emerging Evidence
From Menarche to Menopause and Beyond: Advances in Nutrition and Women's Health is an engaging, interdisciplinary and evidence-informed conference designed to advance understanding of the role of nutrition in women’s health from adolescence through older adulthood.
Bringing together leading researchers and clinicians, this conference will explore current evidence related to reproductive health conditions such as polyendocrine metabolic ovarian syndrome (PMOS), infertility and endometriosis; the physiological and metabolic changes associated with perimenopause and menopause; nutrition strategies to support cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, and mental health; and the emerging developments in personalized nutrition, gene–diet interactions, and nutritional supplementation in women’s care.
Translating Evidence Into Practice
A central focus of the conference is the translation of research evidence into practical applications. Sessions will examine sex- and gender-specific considerations in nutrition research, GLP-1–based therapies and cardiometabolic health, and the importance of equity, cultural responsiveness, and inclusive research approaches to care.
Through expert presentations, panel discussions, and interactive dialogue, attendees will gain practical knowledge and evidence-informed strategies to support women’s health across diverse populations and clinical settings.

Learning Objectives
By the end of this conference, attendees will be able to:
- Evaluate current and emerging evidence on the role of nutrition in women’s health across the life course, including reproductive, cardiometabolic, musculoskeletal, mental health, healthy aging and chronic disease outcomes.
- Translate nutrition research findings into practical assessment, prevention and intervention strategies for women across diverse life stages and clinical contexts.
- Identify sex- and gender-related considerations that influence nutrition research, evidence interpretation and the implementation of evidence-informed care.
- Apply evidence-informed approaches to common and under-recognized women’s health concerns, including iron deficiency, menopause, PMOS, fertility and cardiovascular disease.
- Identify emerging priorities and future directions in women’s health nutrition research, clinical practice and policy.
Why Attend?
This conference will strengthen the capacity of health professionals, researchers and trainees to integrate current evidence into practice, promote interdisciplinary collaboration and advance equitable approaches to women's health care.
