This session will explore the role of nutrition in the management of PMOS, endometriosis, and fertility, with an emphasis on practical, evidence-based nutrition and supplement interventions and compassionate counselling strategies.
Each topic will begin with an overview of the condition's pathophysiology, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment, followed by a review of current research on dietary patterns and commonly used supplements.
The session will also address challenges in reproductive health nutrition counselling, including weight bias, disordered eating, body image concerns, fear of food, and misinformation on social media, with a focus on providing compassionate, patient-centred care.
